Stella Zhao joined Lightspeed China Partners in 2016.
She focuses on investment opportunities in the Consumer and TMT sectors.
Stella is actively involved with portfolio companies including Big Eye Buy Buy Buy, FanDeng Reading, Starfield, Lanhu, Hanshow Technology, Sunmi, SoupMaster, BOP, Teakoo, Morus, etc.She is selected in the 2018 Forbes China "30 Under 30" and 2019 Forbes Asia "30 Under 30".
Previously, Stella worked as product manager of WeChat Team at Tencent, where she deeply participated in most of the product designs and industrial solutions for WeChat Open Platform, focusing primarily on consumption/service fields. Prior to that, she was an operation manager at Yihaodian, a leading online supermarket in China, where she led its mobile commerce business of marketplace.
Stella holds a B.A. in Marketing from Shanghai University of Finance & Economics(SUFE).
