Molly Xiao joined Lightspeed China Partners as Associate Partner in 2016. She is in charge of searching for outstanding entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining LCP, Molly had been the Vice President and Head of Human Resource at Sequoia Capital China since 2011. She is among those first engaged in team-building for venture capital firms and private equity funds in China and in post-investment management service that adds value to the invested companies. Molly was part of the efforts after SCC's investment in Jingdong.com, Vipshop.com, ZTO Express, Meituan.com, Ganji.com, Ppdai.com, Country-style Cooking, Thinkingdom Media Group Ltd and other businesses. Prior to that, Molly co-founded MKG in 2008, a human resource consultancy which has partnered with a number of VC firms and businesses. Active in the entrepreneurs and investors community, Molly has participated in and organized a variety of professional events.
Molly holds an EMBA from China Europe International Business School, a MBA from Renmin University of China, and a B.A. in management from Shandong University.
Apart from these, Molly is also a post-80s financial writer of influence in the entrepreneurs and investors community. Her work, Small Storm 1.0: the Rose of Time, one of her Big Capital Series, has been published by Citic Press Group.
